Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for several functional areas of general accounting. The Accounting Processor will report to the Manager or Assistant Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Accounts Payable- process payments to suppliers and respond to inquiries from suppliers about payment status
• General Journal Entry- process journal entry for several types of accounting transactions
• Report preparation-prepare balance lists for some of the main general ledger accounts, cargo insurance, etc
• Effective and professional communication with branch offices
• Filing of documents
• Other assignments as required by management
• Hourly Pay Range $20-$25

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance preferred 
• Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping
• PC Skills primarily in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Good Interpersonal skills
• Must be able to pass an internal basic accounting test on journal entries

Organization Relationships: Reports to Accounting Assistant Manager or Accounting Manager

Work Environment:
